Wow!  A great teal season just ended.  It was a September to remember on the prairies of Texas.  Sunday ended with a 13 man limit of bluewings and greenwings.  I cannot wait for regular season.  Look forward to hunting with everyone this fall and winter!

The Texas Teal Season started this Saturday morning with great success.  Lots of birds and good shooting made the weekend a success.  Thank you to the Clanton Group which spent the weekend with us and see you in December.  It was good to see old friends again and meet some new ones.

The hot temperatures and drought conditions were no match for opening day of the Texas Dove season.  Hunters showed up in good numbers to enjoy a day in the field.  Slow mornings and busy afternoons as the doves fed in the heat and the hunters took advantage averaging just over 10 birds per person.
