Teal Reports and Proposed Dates

A wet spring in the breeding grounds has caused the record books to fall again.  Just like in 2009, the largest blue-wing teal migration will follow a wet spring.  The projected migration for Blue-wing Teal will be 8.9 million birds, which has forced a 16 day teal season for the Texas Prairies.  Proposed dates for the early teal season is September 10 – 25, 2011.  The limit is unchanged at four birds per day.  Call today to reserve your spot!
